Heather and Todd had the quintessential Washington DC wedding! First of all, the ladies got ready at the historic Hay Adams Hotel, which is across the street from the White House. The ceremony was held in Georgetown at an adorable colonial-style chapel, St. John's Episcopal Church. And then, for the finale, the celebration took place at the Ronald Reagan Building on Pennsylvania Avenue! The reception had a vintage DC feel, with framed old maps of DC, the tables named after Presidents, and a Teddy Roosevelt impersonator (which was a suprise from Heather's parents!). These photo are courtesy of Tracy Timmester who's stunning work speaks for itself!

The Dennis Katz wedding was such a pleasure to be a part of! So many tiny details helped make this wedding such a success! We used jewel toned flowers with a semi historic looking low and high candletsticks that added so much to the Bonnet House setting. These pictures are courtesy of Brett Tyler that did a fabulous job of capturing the moment!

Plum, Purple, Eggplant and California....

This season seems to be hot, hot, hot for the purple hues. Add in using flower spheres and a beautiful California day and you get a fabulous wedding!! All my brides using purple you are gonna love these shots!! Many of you know I am originally from California and love being able to take a break from the Florida heat every now and again. If I get a chance to do a wedding at the same time it just makes the 5 hour flight that much more worth it ;)
Previously we have focused on the Central Coast wine country, but we recently just signed up our first Napa wedding for next summer. Can't wait!!

Anajli and Antoine - The Main Event

Okay this was a seriously cool party. Granted there was some wedding activity before the party.... Anjali wanted more than anything for her guests to have FUN! From the vodka ice luge serving the specialty "Mourani Mix", to the hookah lounge, to the spanish guitarist during cocktail hour....sigh....this was only the beginning. The challenge: our venue was the gorgeous Trump International on Sunny Isles Beach -- for both days. BTW -- the Trump folks WE LOVE YOU, talk about service, service, service!! We had to create a complete transformation. Compare pics and let me know if we did it right! Check out the gorgeous photos from my good buddy Alain Martinez!

Stunning Bride!

Looking sharp Antoine!
Mom is sooooo proud -- even in the reflection!

Quick restroom break -- many thanks to Chocolate Restaurant!

Some gals get one limo -- Anjali had 5!!!

Petals were not allowed in the church so we took things outside!
The room. Sick, sick, sick.

Draping is just that cherry on the top!

Now the fun starts!
Sometimes bribery is in order with our flower girls and ring bearers. Barbie about 2 hours ago was the prize....seems Barbie has commited a sin and will now have her feet removed for it!

Mourani Mix Anyone?
