Anajli and Antoine - The Main Event

Okay this was a seriously cool party. Granted there was some wedding activity before the party.... Anjali wanted more than anything for her guests to have FUN! From the vodka ice luge serving the specialty "Mourani Mix", to the hookah lounge, to the spanish guitarist during cocktail hour....sigh....this was only the beginning. The challenge: our venue was the gorgeous Trump International on Sunny Isles Beach -- for both days. BTW -- the Trump folks WE LOVE YOU, talk about service, service, service!! Miami Indian Wedding Bliss!

This couple was another fusion wedding of both the Indian and Catholic cultures. Sometimes we combine these cultures into one day of wedding activities. However, Anjali has the creativity for 2 ceremonies -- hands down! This first series of pics was from her first day of wedding activites, the Inidan ceremony. Complete with Sitar player, a full Indian food buffet (that spice stayed with me for days!) and one of the most amazing Mundups I have ever seen. And the saris! Oh the saris. Direct from Indian in the most vibrant colors! I only have pics from the first day yet, but can't wait to show day two that was truly over the top

I was recently asked to consult on a wedding in Paris, France. I know, my job is terrible. Client's often ask me,"how can you plan a wedding in a location you do not reside in?" The answer is simple. The elements of a wedding should not be dependent on location, but rather on the personalization of the couple. That and the miracle of the internet makes almost anything possible ;) Seriously, as a wedding planner my primary job, besides being there for brides, grooms and families, is research. My research should never be limited to only the things I know as that limits the end result. My research is always based on the couples interests and wants. This makes the ultimate day about ten million times more incredible!
